"One of the oldest of this type of program. One problem, on my system, is if I want to delete a message before it has completed downloading, the program freezes and I have to delete it's process in memory. The only noticeable change in past years is the caller-id feature and possibly telemarketer blocking but I would think there would be more such as: 1) take call messages while using telephone, 2) able to right-click/edit listed phone number and change to a name or description (Dad - work, etc.), 3) upload a reasonably sized greeting message, 4) black-list a phone number (user choice of partially or completely blocking a message [partial blocks message download. complete is completely intercepted and user is never aware the call occurred.]} I would be willing to pay more for these features which provide some utility to me..."

" I have used CallWave for about 6 months. I do pay $7.95 per month but I consider it worth it. I receive large (30 page) faxes 3-4 times per week and I receive them generally within 30 seconds of when the last page is sent. I received a 1 page test fax I sent in about 10 seconds. I have an Orlando fax number and companion telephone number (I live im MD but spend a lot of time near Orlando). I get both faxes and phone calls promptly. I have called the tech support number twice, and both times the response was good although the wait time was longer than I would have liked. All-in-all, I am satisfied with CallWave."

"...have had call wave for a year. They just sent me an email telling me that my fees have doubled. I have never had a problem with the service, but a doubling of my fees is absolutely inexcusable. However, I have had a pleasant experience working with their customer service, and have gotten some free months from them...."
